Welcome to Micro Meditation (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application Micro Meditation (the “App”) handles information when you use our services.
Micro Meditation is designed to help you practice mindfulness through quick 30-second meditation sessions. We believe in transparency and want you to understand exactly what data our App accesses and why.
We want to be clear about what we do not do:
- No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or location to external servers.
- No User Accounts: The App does not require registration or login. There are no user accounts.
- No Cloud Storage: Your meditation data, preferences, and progress are stored locally on your device only.
- No Data Selling: We never sell, trade, or rent any user data to third parties.
- No Third-Party Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics services to track your behavior.
To provide its functionality, Micro Meditation stores certain data locally on your device. This data never leaves your device.

2. Meditation Progress
- What: Session count, streak data, achievements, XP/level progress
- Why: To track your meditation journey and provide gamification features
- Storage: Locally on your device only

- What: Timestamps of completed meditation sessions
- Why: To calculate streaks and daily progress

Advertising
Micro Meditation is a free, ad-supported application. We use Google AdMob to display advertisements.
What AdMob May Collect
- Device advertising identifier (Advertising ID)
- IP address
- Device information (model, operating system version)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Ad Placement
- Banner ads: Displayed on Home and Stats screens
- Interstitial ads: Shown after every 3 completed sessions
- Rewarded ads: Optional, for bonus features

Data Storage and Security
Local Storage Only
All your data is stored locally on your device:
- Meditation session history
- Streak and progress data
- User preferences and settings
- Achievement progress
No Cloud Sync
We do not offer cloud synchronization. Your data never leaves your device unless:
- The App loads advertisements
- You explicitly share your progress using Android’s share feature
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- Uninstalling the App removes all App-related data
- You can clear App data anytime via Android Settings > Apps > Micro Meditation > Clear Data
Children’s Privacy
Micro Meditation is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since our App does not collect personal information from any users, this applies to all age groups equally.
Your Rights and Choices
You have full control over your data:
- Deny Permissions: You can deny notification permissions; core meditation features will still work.
- Disable Sound/Haptics: Control these in Settings within the App.
- Clear Data: Clear all App data anytime via Android Settings > Apps > Micro Meditation > Clear Data.
- Uninstall: Remove the App and all associated data at any time.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
For significant changes, we will notify users through:
- App update release notes on Google Play Store
- In-app notification (for major changes)
