Binary Pulse is a Lights Out-style puzzle game where you toggle nodes on a grid to reach a target state. We believe in transparency and want you to understand exactly what data our App accesses and why.

Information the App Stores Locally

To provide its functionality, Binary Pulse stores the following data locally on your device:

1. Game Progress Data

What: Highest level unlocked, best move counts for each completed level
Why: To track your progress and allow you to continue where you left off
Storage: Local SharedPreferences on your device only

2. User Preferences

What: Sound effects enabled/disabled, background music enabled/disabled
Why: To remember your audio settings between sessions
Storage: Local SharedPreferences on your device only

That’s it. The App stores no other data. All 1000 levels are generated using a deterministic algorithm based on the level number - no downloads or server communication is required.

How the App Works

You solve puzzles by tapping nodes on a grid to toggle them and their neighbors
Your progress (highest level unlocked and best move counts) is saved locally after each completed level
Levels are generated using a deterministic reverse-construction algorithm based on the level number (no server required)
Sound effects and background music play locally from bundled audio files
No data ever leaves your device - all game data is stored and processed locally

Internet Usage

The App does not use the internet. Binary Pulse is a fully offline application. It does not request the INTERNET permission and makes no network calls of any kind.

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage Only

All your data is stored locally on your device in app-private storage:

Game progress (highest level unlocked, best move counts)
Audio preferences (sound effects and music toggles)

No Cloud Sync

We do not offer cloud synchronization. Your game data never leaves your device.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

Uninstalling the App removes all App-related data
You can clear App data anytime via Android Settings > Apps > Binary Pulse > Clear Data
Your progress cannot be recovered once deleted

Children’s Privacy

Binary Pulse is suitable for all ages.

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13
The App contains no advertisements
The App contains no in-app purchases
The App requires no internet connection
The App is fully COPPA compliant

Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data:

Disable Sound Effects: Toggle off in App settings
Disable Background Music: Toggle off in App settings
Clear Data: Clear all App data via Android Settings
Uninstall: Remove the App and all associated data at any time

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
